co·op·er·a·tive:

involving mutual assistance in working toward a common goal…

Our mission is to focus on sustainability for our community and its residents (owner/members). Each designer that joins Spruce has the opportunity to become an owner/member, granting them an equal vote on the company's disbursement of funds, salaries, and design work.

We believe that giving each designer an equal chance to benefit directly from their work invested results in less turnover, more productivity, and equality in the workforce.

A worker’s cooperative functions best by applying a simple rule: Your gain is a direct result of the time you invest. By presenting each member the opportunity to hold an equal share, we are creating an environment where each member can thrive and grow along with the company.

The founding of a Cooperative.

Spruce was originally founded in 2018 and have recently transitioned into a cooperative. This group of forward-thinking designers strives to collaborate and share in the company's growth and production.

Meggan Bocks and Ember Heath have co-founded Spruce Design Cooperative, here in the Gallatin Valley. Together they bring over 12 years of design experience to the cooperative.

Both are ASID members and graduates of the Interior Design program at MSU Gallatin College.
